The role is with Victorian Local Councils across Metro Melbourne, committed to providing high-quality sports facilities to the community.
**Your new role**
As a Turf Maintenance Crew Member, you will be responsible for maintaining sports grounds and facilities to a high standard. Your duties will include (but not limited to) mowing, fertilising, watering, and aerating the turf. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the sports grounds and facilities are safe and free from hazards.
**What you’ll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role:
- A passion for sports, horticulture, or working outdoors
- You should have experience in turf maintenance and be familiar with the latest techniques and equipment
- You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team.
- Covid-19 Double Vaccination
- Ability to provide two valid references
**What you’ll get in return**
In return for your hard work, you will receive:
- Competitive hourly rate of **$32-$36 per hour** and a **fortnightly RDO (depends on the council)**:
- Weekly pay with easy online timesheets
- PPE Provided (if required)
