As a Public Area Attendant/ Houseman, you are an essential part of our Housekeeping team, entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness of our shared spaces and ensuring attention to detail. You will feel comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, while engaging with guests and assisting them with any questions or needs they may have.
- Maintain the property’s cleanliness and appearance, both indoors and outdoors.
- Take on the cleaning challenge, ensuring that indoor and outdoor public areas (including the pool, gym, and shared bathrooms) are always spotless and meet our high standards.
- Safely operate specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Assist guests with inquiries and security-related matters, and collaborate with other departments to complete tasks effectively.
- Act as a point of contact for maintenance and guest services, reporting any issues, from maintenance concerns to damaged equipment or missing items.
- Ensuring all service areas are fully stocked with guest amenities, towels and linen for the day ahead
- Moving clean and dirty linen trolleys around hotel as required
- Support the housekeeping team with any cleaning support as needed

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a similar role (such as cleaner, houseman, or public area attendant) is advantageous.
- You communicate warmly and effectively, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and colleagues.
- You possess strong attention to detail, manage time efficiently, and take pride in your work.
- Physically fit and adaptable to work in various environments, both indoors and outdoors, including stairs and uncovered areas.
- Enjoy collaborating with diverse teams.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
