Building Cleaner

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all residential, retail, and common areas within the building.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors to ensure all surfaces remain spotless.
• Clean glass, mirrors, and windows to a high standard.
• Dust and polish furniture, fittings, and fixtures to maintain a tidy and welcoming environment.
• Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, switches, lift buttons, and handrails.
• Clean and sanitise commercial toilets and washrooms, ensuring they are stocked, hygienic, and well-presented at all times.
• Dispose of rubbish and recycling safely, following building waste management procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly to building management.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and chemicals are used safely and stored appropriately.

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience in residential, or commercial, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills when engaging with residents, staff, and contractors.
• Basic understanding of safe cleaning practices and correct chemical usage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or public holidays if required.
