**Mid West Area Mental Health Service (MWAMHS)**
- ** Newly created early career or graduate psychologist position**:

- ** 2-year full-time contract while you undertake your clinical registrar program**:

- ** Work across 3 different clinical programs; Perinatal Mental Health Service, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service and Women’s Prevention and Recovery Centre**

**Your new team**:

- The Clinical Psychology Registrar position forms part of NWMH’s Entry Level Program (ELP) aimed at developing early career psychologists / clinical psychology graduates into skilled and experienced mental health practitioners
- Over a course of 2 years you will work across 3 different clinical programs based at Sunshine Hospital and St Albans.

**Your new role**:

- The Perinatal Mental Health Service:_
- As part of our team you will provide assessment and treatment for women requiring help with a range of perinatal related mental health issues, including but not limited to; Depression, PTSD, pregnancy related grief, anxiety etc.
- The Sunshine Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service:_
- Here you will work within a paediatric consultation-liaison service which provides mental health assessments and consultations for children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 years old.
- The Women's PARC_:

- At WPARC you will provide short term mental health recovery and rehabilitation support to women residing in the North and West metropolitan areas.
- The Clinical Psychology Registrar position forms part of NWMH’s Entry Level Program (ELP) aimed at developing early career psychologists / clinical psychology graduates into skilled and experienced mental health practitioners

**About You**:

- AHPRA registration as a psychologist
- APAC accredited undergraduate and post graduate degree in clinical psychology or clinical neuropsychology
- Experience and expertise in psychological / neuropsychological screening / assessments and ability to translate findings into recommendations for management / treatment planning
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
- Ability to liaise with consumers, their family members and other service providers
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
