Energy Operations Manager

**Your New Opportunity**:
Due to internal transfer, we are seeking our next Operations Manager to assist the General Manager - Operations with leading the Cleanaway ResourceCo Joint Venture (CRRF) and deliver the required outcomes from a WHSEQ, sales, operations, and financial perspective.
**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Implementing and supporting compliance operations whilst promoting continuous improvement and a culture of safety first.
- Achieve the required operational outcomes for the business in a sustainable manner including sales, customer service, production, and logistics
- Secure and deliver strategic key projects that give above budgeted returns and continuing to improve the performance of our business
- Identify and manage key risks to business performance
- Managing risk assessments, hazard identification and elimination
- Develop a high performing skilled team that, has at its core, the value of respect and teamwork
- Lead from the front in a hands-on manner through a large shop floor presence and positive engagement will all employees in the business
- Deliver excellent customer service to the business’s customers who include both incoming waste as well as outgoing product customers

**About you**:

- Passion for safety and safe work practices
- Tertiary education in relevant field and experience working in the Construction, Waste or relevant industry will be well regarded but not essential
- Strong people leader qualities including strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Implementing ResourceCo Values (Sustainable, Committed, Creative and Agile) into day-to-day practice
- Possess a strong customer service attitude with a willingness to perform all functions in a manner to achieve this end.
- Sound understanding of basic costing and financial reporting, e.g., balance sheet, Board Reports.
- Intermediate computer skills
