**Assistant Ranger - Animal Control**
**1 x Permanent Full Time - 38 hours, 5 days per week and on call**
**Do you have extensive experience in relation to collecting, capturing stray/nuisance companion animals within a customer focussed environment? Look no further this is the job for you We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate initiative, have the ability to work within and contribute towards team success, have a commitment to continuous quality improvement, and in providing community protection and education in regulatory and compliance matters.

To success in this role you should:

- Have a Certificate IV in Local Government (studying/completed) or relevant experience.
- Appropriate experience in animal handling/control techniques.
- Knowledge of the Companion Animals Act.
- Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
