Day to day, you’ll help older people live with dignity, whether that’s helping them get around, go to the bathroom, take a shower, or enjoy a meal with a friendly face - in line with their personalised care plan. You will help them celebrate life with community-based fun and social activities and bring them a sense of belonging in so doing.

- Hourly rate: $29.46 - $32.18 + Superannuation + penalty rates for nights and weekends, and NFP salary packaging (pay up to $18,550 less tax per year, meaning more money for you)

**The requirements | What it takes to do this work**

No matter your role, it takes a real love of caring, a willingness to jump in and do the work, and a genuine desire to make a difference. As a carer, you’ll also need:

- A Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support (or similar)
- An empathy for older people and commitment to meeting their needs
- 12 months+ experience delivering exceptional customer service within the Aged Care industry
- Willingness and flexibility to work afternoon and nights shifts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill
