This organisation has been operating in Canberra as a specialist manufacturer for over 50 years. They pride themselves on quality service and have a great team based in Fyshwick.

**Your new role**

This position is a mixed role that provides a range of duties, including:

- Operating the forklift to load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Managing stock and providing quality assurance and reporting any damage.
- Assist with delivering stock out to site and helping the installers as required.
- Fabrication such as welding as required.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard and storage areas.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tickets: Forklift License, White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness
- Skills and Abilities: Welding experience (welding ticket held in high regard), the ability to safely lift and hold large and heavy items in place when assisting with loading or installs, good forklift operating experience.
- Hours and Attitude: Be available to work Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm and rostered Saturdays, have a can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously.

**What you'll get in return**
- An hourly rate of $28 - $33 per hour depending on experience.
