For the right applicants, opportunities exist to undertake the Certificate III & IV in Swimming Pool & Spa Service as part of your employment with Poolwerx.

Hours are flexible and can be negotiated to suit the business and your needs, however there is a likely requirement for additional hours to meet peak season demands (i.e. summer).

Key functions of our Technician roles include:

- Test & balance water using a photometer
- Manually clean a variety of pool & spa types in both residential & commercial environments
- Install pumps, filters & chlorinators in line with manufacturer’s specifications
- Perform scheduled maintenance procedures on pool equipment
- Fault-finding skills & ability
- Identify & disclose future sales & service opportunities at each location

**Skills and experience**:

- A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Pool Service Technician
- Commencing **as soon as possible**:

- Have a current open driver’s license
- Bring a commitment to safe work practices
- Be self-motivated, show initiative, energetic & able to think on your feet
- Good communication
- Enjoy dealing with customers and perform basic marketing activities while in the field
- Can work unsupervised and manage competing priorities within a set time frame
- Use our system to key data into a mobile ‘app’
- Able to lift 20kg bags/drums
