About the role
As a Delivery Lead here at Bunnings, you will be a key leader within our Store Platforms team. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Delivery, you will be a key part of the squad’s leadership and will be accountable for the team’s health, sentiment and performance.
What's involved:
- End-to-end delivery of multiple product initiatives using agile methods in cross-disciplinary teams.
- Manage iterations, scope, priorities, stakeholders, risks, issues and timelines.
- Track and report project progress to stakeholders
- Use delivery metrics to continuously improve and optimise ways of working
- Develop business cases for funding requests and manage project budgets once businesses cases are approved
- Ensure that the products are delivered successfully and adhere to the agreed timeframe, budget, functional and quality objectives
Who we’re looking for
You are a natural and capable people leader who can influence teams and outcomes through your highly developed interpersonal skills. Having previously led a team of software developers you will bring demonstrated experience in a similar level role.
You will have exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritise and make decisions considering business value and with a customer first mentality.
You’ll need:
- Extensive experience working with and leading agile teams, coupled with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and framework
- Ability to work across a program of work, coupled with strong demonstrated project management skills
- Prior experience working with senior level stakeholders, utilising excellent communication skills
- Technical experience in software development projects as a developer, business analyst or similar is highly desirable
