Our client (a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced pipe systems) is seeking an experienced production worker for an immediate start.

$38.02 per hour (flat rate) (overtime rate applies when working other that rostered hours)

Temp to Perm opportunities

Work with a fun and friendly team

Rotating roster - work a lot one week, and a little the next

Role Specifications

Monday - Sunday rotating roster (84 hours per fortnight) Day and Night shift - 12-hour shifts

0700 - 1900 hours (Day shift) and 1900 - 0700 hours (Night shift) working 60 hours one week, and 24 the next.

Forklift ticket is mandatory

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening is mandatory

Ability to provide a copy of a police clearance within 6 months or be willing to obtain one

**PPE required**: Cotton drill long sleeve hi vis shirt, cotton drill long work pants, steel cap boots, safety glasses, safety gloves and hearing protection requiredDriver’s license and car is preferred as public transport is limited in the area

Physically fit and strong - ability to move large volumes of plastic pipe (lifting and mechanical aids will assist)

**What you will be doing - the job responsibilities**:
Production of plastic pipes and storm water drains

Operation of industrial machinery and equipment for manufacturing purposes

Use of overhead cranes

Forklift operation

Use of hand tools and electric strapping for specialised pallets

Quality checks to ensure production satisfaction and ability to identify any necessary rejects

Measuring of productions using approved equipment

Machine maintenance to minimise downtime on machines

Pre-start checks of machinery

You must have valid working rights within Australia to be considered for this role.
