**About the role**:
We are looking for a new Graduate Council Carshare Planner. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Accountability for Sourcing new locations for network growth.
- Be the contact for council staff and build positive working relationships with council staff.
- Adapt yourself, your work and the team to the changing needs of our members, partners, government and the business
- Key partner in optimisation of our existing fleet
- Be the voice of our Members and Carshare to external partners
- Focus strongly on proactive retention strategies for our locations
- Develop and build a network that will deliver results and therefore Empower Smarter Lifestyles and Create Liveable Communities
- Engage with our membership base to ensure an active positive voice to external partners.
- Ensure we meet policy requirements, and are aware of policy issues
- Work proactively within the team and across the company to get the best outcome for everyone
**What you’ll bring to the role**:
- You have a planning, council, public transport or related background
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Understanding and passion for the value we bring to our LGAs
- A genuine desire to understand our members and advocate for them
- Challenger thinking, prototyping, problem solving and disruptive approach.
- Track record of results delivery both on commercial outcomes and on projects
- You’ll be very comfortable in uncertainty and relish the challenges that come with an entrepreneurial, lean, rapidly growing business
- Self starter, comfortable working both independently and in a team
- Strong commercial acumen and decision making to make good decisions
- Some experience with mapping software would be highly regarded
