A great role in a fantastic team

- Sector-leading community service provider with a great reputation
- Ruah aims to promote measures to achieve equality. Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act applies to this role._
Our mission is to open hearts and make bold strides.
**Why you'll love this opportunity...**:
Ruah is a diverse organisation - we work in homelessness, mental health, family & domestic violence, community legal, with sector partners to create what doesn't exist yet is needed, and with smaller organisations that can benefit from the support and strength we've built over 60+ years.
We are further strengthened by the quality, passion, and diversity of our people - including in our leadership team, full to the brim with empathy, humanity and a visible care factor. Every door is open.
On top of this we’re building the Ruah Centre for Women and Children, a first of its kind project in Northbridge - if you don’t know about it, you're about to be _wowed_.
**About the role**:
As a People and Culture Partner you’ll provide a high calibre, trusted, professional and objective advisory service to People & Culture (P&C) stakeholders, being Ruah leaders and their people. This role partners with leaders to continually develop and implement generalist P&C solutions across Ruah’s talent lifecycle, delivering outcomes to meet our strategic and operational objectives.
Overseeing a portfolio of Ruah service areas, you’ll work across all general HR disciplines inclusive of employee relations activities in collaboration with the wider P&C team and the Service Lead - People & Culture whom is your direct leader.
You’ll also elevate our employee value proposition (EVP) as a brand ambassador that is an active ally across our internal communities (Reconciliation, LGBTIQ+ and more).
Our P&C team is made up of a vibrant and respected group of professionals. We love making a difference for our people so that they can be their best for our vulnerable clients. We certainly have fun while we do this too.
Note: position currently based in Subiaco, and we will relocate to a brand new Northbridge facility around July.
**Who are we looking for?**:
To be successful for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- You'll have experience pro-actively providing service to a broad range of P&C disciplines including recruitment, performance/absence management, industrial relations, workers compensation, employee relations (incl workplace investigations), legislative regulations and change management.
- You'll know your ER/IR stuff - Fair Work, Awards/EAs, interpretation, the usual (we have external IR legal support too though).
- You'll be an experienced communication powerhouse - between people, in front of many people, and with data & reporting insight.
- You're a lifelong learner because of your continuous desire to learn, grow and sharpen your craft.
- Highly Desirable_
- A relevant tertiary qualification, AHRI member
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and ability to work with Aboriginal and culturally diverse people is highly desirable.
**What do we offer?**:
