**Qualifications & experience**
- Master qualifications or study in supply management, operations or similar would be highly regarded
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

**About the role**:
You will be exposed to an extremely wide range of responsibilities, which will include:
1. Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels (ensuring product availability, and meeting market demands).

2. Determines, implements, and monitors the strategies, policies and plans for purchasing, storage, and distribution.

3. Prepares and implements plans to maintain the required stock levels at minimum cost.

4. Liaise with manufacturer, sales department and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation. May negotiate contracts with manufacturer to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.

5. Oversees the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions to ensure the re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times.

6. Be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain operations.

7. Directs staff activities and monitors their performance

**About you**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply and Distribution Manager, who will be willing to put in the extra mile and take a ‘hands on’ approach to ensure our team are successful in achieving DIFOT targets.
- Ideally, you will have:_
- Demonstrated experience in leading a warehouse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with MYOB or warehousing management systems and intermediate computer skills
- Experience in analytical reporting

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
