**About You**

As a Data Modeller, you will provide support for the Enterprise Data Conformance Team in optimising accessibility and usage of enterprise data, enabling compliance to internal and external data management policies, minimising risk in a robust and automated manner, and enabling alignment with the strategic direction of Enterprise Data.

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- Proficiency and experience with Erwin Data Modeller
- Working knowledge of the Financial Services Data Model (FSDM)
- Data Vault 2 data modelling and implementation experience
- Dimensional data modelling and implementation experience
- Ability to rapidly understand business requirements and map them into logical and physical data models within relevant modelling tools.
- Prior experience working in an agile squad environment
- Good understanding of mainframe and other systems technology (beneficial)
- Experience or exposure to data catalogues such as Informatica Axon and EDC, or IBM InfoSphere Information Governance Catalogue would be highly beneficial.

Working closely with other Data Management and Data Platform teams, you will help define requirements, enable system enhancements and resolve production issues relating to Data Vault and/or Dimensional models and related conformed data layers within the National Data Hub (NDH).

**Other key responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting in development of data asset conformance and governance processes.
- Creation and maintenance of artefacts relating to data models (e.g. DDLs, mapping of data, DMLs, Data Dictionaried, Change Registers etc.)
- Assisting the conformance team in the development and continuous improvement of data modelling and conformance principles, processes, and standards
- Assisting the conformance team in the implementation of enterprise data asset standards, and in the implementation of related data asset governance processes
