**About the job**

Dressmaking and Such is looking for a fabulous Bridal Alterations Seamstress/Tailor to join in our expansion, to work in our new Vermont Studio.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Impeccable sewing skills and attention to detail
- Experience in bridal and using industrial sewing machines
- Knowledge in bridal construction techniques
- Knowledge in fitting and garment construction/basic pattern making in order to carry out client fittings
- Work in-house, at our Studio in Vermont

**Responsibilities**
- Complete Bridal Alterations based off client fittings and pins
- Maintaining the high standard of work Dressmaking and Such has become known for
- Position could lead to you taking clients for fittings and seeing them through from fitting stage, garment alterations and collection

**Skills required**
- Garment Construction knowledge
- Fitting knowledge
- Pattern Making knowledge a bonus

You should be well presented, have a friendly and relatable personality, be open minded, be one step ahead of the client in knowing what they need before they know it and be able to suggest ideas to clients with confidence.

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
