The Catering and Events Supervisor is a Client-facing hospitality professional, responsible for directly managing and delivering a wide range of Fossix Catering and Event services.

Successful delivery of this role requires ‘servicing’ a range of Corporate Clients hospitality needs. This includes the efficient and professional client management & delivery of Catering and Event services. The primary responsibility for this role is to ensure customers are fully satisfied with their Fossix Catering and Event experience.

**Key responsibilities**

You will work under the direction of the Fossix Catering and Events Account Manager, across Catering and Event Hospitality services including:

- Catering & Event Client Engagement: Account Management using Flex Catering, to capture the Client requirements via a catering and/or event order.
- Catering & Events execution from bump-in to bump-out
- Catering; Independent, end to end supervision of catering orders including preparing, checking and dispatch/delivery of orders to customers.
- Delivery of events and catering to Clients: including the Salesforce Event Management Team and Fossix catering and event clients.
- Client engagement prior to events and large catering orders to ensure all needs are considered and fulfilled all the time with excellence.

**Event Management and Supervision & Execution**:

- Event Planning and Preparation: Liaise with the Fossix Kitchen team, including following up on specific requirements in advance with internal kitchen and external catering partners, arranging production for orders based on pre-approval.
- Event Staffing: Organising staff to deliver events including posting Supp shifts for additional staff for Events including FOH, Chefs and Kitchen support staff
- Briefing the onsite team, managing the movement of the furniture, set-up for the event and other operations tasks related to the event. Recognising when Client requests are extraordinary / and engaging Account Manager or Retail Ops Manager
- Managing the bump out after events including ensuring all excess food, alcohol, crockery and servery equipment is returned to Fossix and returned to our storage locations.
- Managing alcohol inventory for events stock ‘on hand’

**Personal qualities and experience**
- Experience working with food service, ideally catering or event services.
- Strong organisational skills.
- High attention to detaiI.
- Technology competency and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Track record working as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates
