**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Production Manager the Machine Operator Operator in our Industry 4.0 Smart Sheet Metal Factory, will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of our automated and part-manual production systems.

This is a permanent full-time role, based in our head office in Arndell Park.

**Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Operating, monitoring and controlling various machines and processes to ensure the production of high-quality sheet metal and other components
- Operating and monitoring laser and robotics machines (training provided)
- Perform routine maintenance and maintain a clean working environment
- Manage the movement and storage of raw materials
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience in a similar role operating various machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects if required
- Ability to adapt to change and work across multiple machinery and equipment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Forklift licence is highly advantageous
- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade is desirable but not essential
