**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet, seat, and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/barista team.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and service standards.
- Operate the POS system, process cash and EFTPOS payments, and issue receipts.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and packing down the café floor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service areas, and FOH spaces.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and escalate when required.
- Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure efficient service.
- Uphold café policies, health and safety, and food handling regulations.

**Skills & Requirements**
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in using POS systems and handling cash/EFTPOS payments.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and mornings.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable customer experiences.

**Position Type**: Casual, Part-time, or Full-time (depending on availability)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 - 33 per week
