**About the Role**:
Reporting to the **Commercial Analyst, **you'll provide insights and strategic financial management advice to assist care business and stakeholders, in maximising the value care creates for Aveo.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Assist in the financial analysis associated with any care transformation projects as determined by the care, finance, or portfolio management
- Assist in maintenance and ongoing maintenance management reporting dashboards and benchmarking
- Assist and maintain lead indicator reporting
- Assist with review of monthly result to analyse trends and highlight financial performance issues
- Analysis of use of Government Home Care Package funding to identify insights for care operations team as to opportunities for improvement
- Analysis of use of Labour to identify opportunities for improvement
- External trend and benchmark analysis against other providers
- Assist Commercial Analyst with providing financial support and insights to the care business to assist them in making business decisions
- Assist with automation of care reporting in dashboard format
- Assist with standardisation of processes and reporting across villages

**To be successful in the role, you'll have the following attributes**:

- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
- CA/CPA/CIMA status or studying towards is preferred
- More than 2 years in finance or analyst roles, with a proven record of performance
- Care industry experience (desired) and strong understanding of the key business drivers
- Ability to interpret business and financial data and develop visualisations and dashboards to support care business to make critical business decisions
- Ability to work alongside the care business and demonstrate a business partnering mentality and value add, strategic thinker
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Independence - able to work with minimum supervision
