**Experience**: Minimum 10 years in the concrete industry, with previous experience in a leading hand role.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Leading Hand Concreter, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing concrete projects from start to finish in the South East Brisbane region. Your primary duties include:

- **Project Planning and Execution**:

- Plan and organize concrete projects, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Execute jobs from start to finish, demonstrating expertise in all aspects of concrete work.
- **Communication**:

- Effectively communicate with customers, addressing their concerns, and providing updates on project progress.
- Keep supervisors informed throughout the day, reporting any issues or deviations from the plan.
- **Team Management**:

- Direct and lead a crew of concreters on a daily basis, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive working environment.
- **Time Management**:

- Ensure projects are completed within the allocated time frame, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Implement strategies to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
- **Transportation**:

- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Drive a fully equipped work truck, responsible for transporting equipment, tools, and the crew to various job sites.
- **Equipment and Inventory Management**:

- Maintain and organize tools and equipment on the work truck.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure all equipment is in working order.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Uphold strict safety standards on job sites, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.
- Successfully pass a drug test as a requirement for the position.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in the concrete industry.
- Previous experience in a leading hand role.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of concreters effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Proficient in driving and operating a fully equipped work truck.

**Job Type**: Subcontract

**Salary**: $500.00 - $600.00 per day

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Retention bonus
