**Role Summary**:
The Operational Performance & Insights Lead is an exciting opportunity in our Operational Insights and Governance team based at our Perth CBD Offices.
This is an integral role in the leadership and operational oversight of the team and will require advanced technical capability in data analysis and reporting. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of operational data management, analysis, and design, development, and implementation of operational data visualisations across the Customer business unit. You will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into compelling visual narratives to drive data-driven decision making that underpins the delivery of customer outcomes consistent with Synergy’s strategy.
**Key responsibilities of the role include**:
- Lead, coach and mentor the team to ensure key business objectives are met and that shared services, data driven customer insights and team performance dashboards provide value and actionable insights to the Customer business unit.
- Drive operational data governance, data management and reporting capabilities to facilitate effective commercial decision making, improve cost to serve and deliver operational efficiencies.
- Utilise data analytics to assess workforce trends, identify potential issues, and make data driven recommendations to drive value and operational efficiencies.
- Design and maintenance of data models, databases and data warehouse for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of data.
- Build and maintain quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of key customer operational reporting requirements and insights.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Commerce, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience (ideally 8+ years) in a leadership role in data visualisation, data analysis and advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of data management concepts, including data modelling, data integration and data governance
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis and statistical tools (eg Python, R, SQL)
