Engeny is a specialist environmental and engineering consultancy with 180 staff across 6 locations in Australia.

We’re looking for an accounts all-rounder to join our head office finance team of 3 in Brisbane to meet the demands of our business expansion.

**About the Role**:
This is a newly created position and will initially focus on payroll and accounts payable, then broaden and change overtime. The role is hands-on and diverse, and you will be supporting our Financial Controller, Finance Officer and Accountant.

Initial tasks will include:

- Setting up and maintenance of employee cards in MYOB
- Running leave reports, leave reconciliations
- Processing twice monthly payroll for professional staff according to contracted hours, and casual staff
- Processing superannuation and PAYGW payments
- Supplier invoice entry and payment setup
- Processing credit card payments
- Ad hoc support across a range of activities that will include EOM and employee share ownership tasks

**About You**:

- Cert IV in Bookkeeping (minimum)
- 3-5 years solid bookkeeping experience
- Payroll experience essential
- Competent in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, data sorting)
- Possess and demonstrate strong people and time management skills
- Experience working in professional services environment advantageous
- Enthusiastic and can work autonomously or as part of a team with support from senior staff and colleagues
