Our client is a leading not-for-profit organisation who are looking for a Dementia Consultant to join their team in Adelaide.

Key responsibilities include:

- Provide consulting and advisory services specific to dementia
- Assess clients and provide resources for effective care
- Provide education to aged care staff and carers
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Build positive working relationships with clients, families, internal and external stakeholders
- Operate in line with the organisations values, guidelines, policies and procedures

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Demonstrated experience supporting people living with dementia
- Experience within a residential aged care or community aged care environment
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing, allied health, aged care or mental health
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- National Police Check
- Full Australian drivers licence
- Designated consultant to support you through the recruitment process
- Preparation advice regarding resume, cover letter and interview success

- Exceptional service and quick progression through recruitment process
- Feedback requested and provided at all stages
- Continued communication and support after employment has commenced
