Hospitality event staff member for Swirl Catering

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, motivated all rounder to be part of our team. We are a locally based premium catering and events business located in Lyneham operating in Canberra & surrounds. As a hospitality event staff member you will be responsible for managing some of the day-to-day operations of catering off premise.

Role:

- Planning and implementing catering operations on a day-to-day basis
- Offsite organisation and operations, including bar operation, food operations assisting with supervising a small group of staff
- Delivery driving across Canberra (drop off catering, set up & pack down, cocktail functions)
- Monday - Friday with the option of evening and weekend work
- Communicating professionally with guests and liaising with clients
- Ensuring hygiene and cleaning standards are met
- Training and mentoring new employees

Favourable qualities:

- Experience in off premise catering, plated dining, cocktail functions, food & beverage service
- Attention to detail
- Physically fit
- Organisational skills and time management skills
- Punctuality and personal presentation
- Necessary certifications and qualifications
- RSA ACT/NSW
- Driver’s licence with a clear driving record
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work independently & problem solve

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-38 per week

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
