The client we are representing is a reputable contractor, working on various major road projects across Sydney. The role will require you to manage environmental risk through delivery and maintenance teams and identify environmental risks in planning stages. Assist teams in the creation of environmental site documentation and training in environmental requirements and knowledge. You will also need to monitor environmental performance of projects and activities and investigate and manage environmental incidents.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5+ years’ environmental monitoring experience
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience in transport, heavy industry, service, or construction
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, legislation, and standards
- Experience undertaking or managing the development of MWREFs
- Experience in environment and assessment field (preferably with transport background)
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Teamwork and collaborative skills
