We are a small family business with years of experience providing maintenance services for the water industry.

We are looking for a hard working, responsible, reliable and a strong communicator to join our small team as a Water Maintenance Technician on our maintenance contract in the Western region.

Key Duties include but not limited to:

- Responding to and repairing water faults in a safe and timely manner, adhering to strict time frames.
- Compliance with job site OHS requirements
- Reading asset plans and dial before you dig plans
- Using machinery such as excavators and a number of power tools
- Some manual labour involved

Main activities include repair burst or leaking mains and repairs/maintenance of domestic service mains, hydrants, valves and water meters.

Successful applicants will preferably need to have:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use smart phone and computers
- Understanding of Dial Before You Dig plans (on the job training provided)
- Traffic Management certificate
- Construction Card
- Electrical Spotters
- First Aid
- Trenching and shoring awareness (preferred but not essential)
- Dogging ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Asbestos awareness (preferred but not essential)
- Flexible hours and on call rosters with overtime offered at times
- Must be willing to work nights

Previous experience in the water sector is desirable but not essential. On the job training will be provided to the right applicant.
