Early Autism Educator

**Introduction**:
As an Early Autism Educator, work one on one with children with autism and related disorders to deliver on their individualised education plans designed to teach language, communication and cognitive skills in a fun, interactive play based structure (particularly designed for young children). We will welcome you to our highly motivated team where you will bring your enthusiasm, energy and keen desire and commitment to the wellbeing of children and their families.

**Description**:
As an educator you will play an important role in an intensive Early Education Program. You will join an energetic team committed to improving the child's language, communication, cognitive, play and social skills using positive teaching methods. The curriculum for each child is designed by the Senior Supervisory Educator who supervises the program and provides ongoing training and development to Educators as well as families in their own homes.

To be successful in this meaningful and exciting role you must enjoy working with children, be dependable, outgoing and excited about helping a child reach their potential.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**CRCS also requires all employees to**:

- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
- Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
