**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are looking for Machine Operators to operate a roll forming machine OR water jet cutting machine. Both positions are full-time, located at our Laverton North factory/workshop.

The Machine Operator (Roll Former) must be available to work the afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, on an ongoing basis.

The Machine Operator (Water Jet Cutter) must be available to work the day shift, Monday to Friday, on an ongoing basis.

Some key responsibilities of both roles include but are not limited to:

- Operating a roll forming machine and general sheet metal equipment OR operating a water jet cutter.
- Operating a pop rivet gun to assemble stud frames (roller former only).
- Referencing drawings to produce and assemble parts.
- Follow a production sequence to ensure daily KPIs/targets are met.
- Performing quality assurance checks for the assembled frame.
- Ensuring that sufficient task analysis is completed to carry out work safely.
- Operating a forklift (desired).

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE**

We’re looking for people who have:

- Recent experience in a manufacturing/production environment, including working towards daily targets.
- Previous experience using a CNC machine.
- Previous experience using a roll forming machine and/or a water jet cutter (preferred).
- Current forklift license (preferred).
- Able to interpret technical/fabrication drawings.
- A commitment to safety and following standard work practices.
- Ability to produce quality outcomes with an eye for continuous. improvement and quality control.
- Basic computer skills.
- Available to work weekends on occasion.

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
