**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
An excellent opportunity has become available and we are currently seeking a customer friendly, experienced and motivated individual to fill a permanent position of an **IT Technician**. Ideal for a team player who will enjoy a mixture of helpdesk and IT Support work. We encourage applicants who understand the IT challenges faced by having a diverse team needing consistent support and can meet these challenges with enthusiasm. We offer an environment that is supportive and encourages individual growth and development. The specific roles and activities are (but not limited to) the following:

- IT Infrastructure / Facilities Management;
- Staff Desktops;
- Desktop & user set up; hardware maintenance/ allocation; technical support via HelpDesk
- Staff & Studio Support Interface;
- Manage and provide first line of IT support; liaise with managed service provider to ensure appropriate outsourcing of technical support
- Training;
- Induct and brief new team members on DKO standards and procedures; provide regular training/ upskilling of staff in IT best practices
- Administration;
- Participate in weekly management meetings; participate in global BIM/ Design software meetings

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience in a IT Technician / Service desk role
- Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience providing exceptional customer service with a “can do” attitude towards problem-solving
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Proactive nature with demonstrated initiative and creativity
- Previous experience within architectural or professional services environment desirable
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
- Effective organization and time management skills to work efficiently towards deadlines
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
