**Salary**: $68,000 pro-rata +superannuation
Reports to: Flickerfest Director and Flickerfest Manager

Flickerfest, Australia’s only Oscar and BAFTA Qualifying short film festival, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Production and Marketing Coordinator to join our passionate, dedicated team for the festival’s 34th event, coming up in January 2025. Reporting directly to the Festival Director and Manager you will play a crucial role in delivering our marketing plan, coordinating design elements and fulfilling stakeholder benefits, ensuring a seamless experience for all Flickerfest partners and supporting the festival team. Your attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and passion for the arts will contribute to the success of Flickerfest.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and excellent administration skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a busy work environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, proven time management skills and ability to work unsupervised at a professional level.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with corporate and government stakeholders, filmmakers, our publicity team, digital marketing consultants, graphic designers and festival team.
- Experience in Management of ambient, print and digital assets for media partnerships and festival branding.
- A flair for creativity and proficiency in using social media and contributing to social media content and campaigns in collaboration with our digital marketing team.
- Passion for cinema and the arts with a strong appreciation of Flickerfest’s role in nurturing the next generation of Australian film talent.
- Demonstrated experience in Arts and Culture Events and/or the Film industry required.
Applications close 8th Oct. The successful applicant must be available from the 1st Nov 2024 until the end of February 2025 for this fixed term contract, with full availability during the festival dates 17th to 26th January essential.
