**About this role**

Seeking an NV1 security cleared Commercial Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will see you take on a variety of commercial and contract related tasks as well as support to project teams for a Maritime program.

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop relevant procurement and commercial documentation and contract administration
- Develop action plans and schedules to support contract management outcomes
- Implement contract change proposals and other contract management documentation
- Mentor and develop junior staff within the commercial team
- Liaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisations
- Data management and analysis
- Provide advice and assistance related to commercial matters

**Skills and experience needed**
- Experience within the Defence industry
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working on project commercial and contracts
- Process orientated with good attention to detail
- Minimum NV1 security clearance and be able to upgrade if required

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Tertiary qualification, certification, vendor course or relevant industry experience Demonstrated experience in strong technical writing skills
- Ability to be fully responsible for meeting allocated technical and/or project/supervisory objectives
- Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Defence industry experience
- High level attention to detail
- Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance as a minimum
