**The Role**

As an Electrical Drafter with Hybrid Systems Australia, you will be responsible for providing support to the Engineering and Design Division. Your project scope will include innovative renewable energy design work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide drafting and design support to the electrical engineers and project team
- Ensure compliance of drawings against client and Hybrid Systems drafting standards
- Prepare & create engineering drawings in accordance with associated checking procedure
- Liaise with engineers, electricians, and supervisors on drawings
- Compiling supporting documentation for all stages of projects
- Responsible for compliance with OHS policies, ensuring workplace compliance, and reporting hazards and near misses
- Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork

**About You***
- Certificate IV of Engineering Technology or equivalent
- 3 + years Electrical Drafting
- Minimum 2 years of Electrical Drafting for Tier 1 companies
- Minimum certificate 4 of Engineering Technology (Electrical).
- Formal drafting training and qualification in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Must be able to comprehend Engineering drawings for English, numeracy, and literacy.
- High level of communication skills both verbally and written.
- Basic level of proficiency with Excel and Word.
- High Level of understanding of work priorities, Time management and safety in design.
- Basic understanding of safety in design practices.
- Basic understanding of Document control practices and procedure.
- Understanding of AS 1100, ISO and OHSE requirements.
