**Senior Account Manager - Oil and gas production**

Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Account Manager located in Brisbane, to serve our customers in the Upstream Oil & Gas Production Industry in Eastern Australia. Our client is a global leader in providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.

**What You will do**:

- Execute sales plans under supervision of line manager, developing further awareness of account profitability and overall health of the account
- Develop and maintain of an effective working relationship with Key Customers
- Proactive identification and resolution of issues identified by customers
- The preparation and delivery of business review meetings for area of responsibility, both internally and externally
- Participate in trials, audits and field support activities as required
- Become proficient in most types of field work, including sampling and testing knowledge, willing and able to transfer that expertise to more Junior representatives through active training and coaching

**Minimum Requirements**
- Degree in Chemistry or related discipline preferred
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role in
- Experience using Microsoft based products
- Ability to build and maintain successful relationships across multiple levels of an organisation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Driver's License - manual Preferred
