Clublinks operates Moore Park Golf, Sydney’s premier Golf entertainment venue on behalf of the Centennial Parklands and Moore Park Trust (Trust). Located within 5km from the CBD, the Moore Park Precinct is a sought-after entertainment and recreation destination for the local community and beyond. Each year Moore Park Golf has over 22 million golf balls hit on the driving range, 75,000 rounds of golf played and 25,000 golf coaching experiences; Moore Park is a one stop golfing and entertainment destination. **The Role** Moore Park Golf are currently seeking an energetic, motivated and service driven Duty Manager to take the next step in their career to join our venue. In this role, the primary responsibilities will be to assist with the day-to-day operations of the business and ensure smooth operations between the entertainment, café & functions to ensure customers have an exceptional experience. **As an Assistant Catering & Events Manager, you will play an integral role in this fast-paced venue by**: - Overseeing the delivery of excellent customer service across all facets of the business - Managing venue functions by having a strong understanding of café, bistro & events service - Maintaining knowledge of venue compliance, regulations and venue operations - Training, motivating and continual staff development - Developing creative promotions and venue initiatives - Improving staff knowledge and skillset to improve on customer engagement - Managing the venue’s appearance and atmosphere **The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following**: - Highly motivated and an exceptional self-starter - Strong leadership and communication skills - High level of customer service skills in a variety of hospitality offerings - Current RSA accreditation - Experience in high volume venues and events **The perks** - Free onsite parking - Free golf and gym membership across our managed sites - Great workplace culture, true to our values - Opportunity for growth and involvement in projects of significance for the business **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time Part-time hours: 38 per week **Benefits**: - Employee discount - Gym membership - Salary packaging Schedule: - Rotating roster
