ECAAS, a division of the Cullinan Group, is an accredited Certification Body that provides internationally recognised Certification Services for Quality, Environmental, OH&S, Information Security and Food Safety Management Systems.
As a result of growth across all areas of our business, we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Lead Auditor. This is a dynamic and rewarding role and will suit someone who has excellent communication and inter-personal skills, along with exemplary time management and organisation skills. As the industries audited will vary from client to client, no two days are ever the same. We require a person that can adapt to changing circumstances and varying workloads, ensuring that quality work is delivered and an impeccable eye for detail is always maintained.
**Responsibility**
- Plan and conduct audits (including document reviews, pre-assessments, certification audits, surveillance audits, recertification audits, corrective action reviews and follow-up audits)
- Review the client’s Management System and its implementation and/or elements thereof
- Collection of objective evidence of compliance with applicable requirements
- Assign specific tasks to audit team members (where applicable)
- Report and discuss findings with the audit team members (where applicable)
- Reach acceptable decisions about the compliance of the client’s Management System with applicable requirements
- Assemble an audit report
- Maintain audit records
- Make recommendations for maintaining, granting, renewal or suspension of certification
- Understand and promote company programs
**Demonstrated Capability**
**Level 3—Professional**
- Has satisfied the criteria and demonstrated the ability to manage an audit team and co-ordinate all aspects of a complete management system audit to ISO 19011:2018 and ISO 17021:2015 requirements.
- Recommendations may be reviewed for soundness of judgement but are usually regarded as technically accurate and feasible.
- Able to make responsible decisions on matters assigned.
- Work is carried out within guidelines requiring conformity with overall objectives, relative priorities and necessary cooperation with Client Services team.
**Requirements**:
**Educational requirements**
Will have successfully completed a course of study, after completing secondary education, involving a minimum of 600 hours direct contact and leading to an award from a recognised body, college or university. Equivalent distance learning courses or corporate/professional membership of a recognised professional institution will also be recognised.
In all cases, documentary evidence of the educational standard claimed will be required. Copies of degree or certificates will be required as objective evidence to satisfy the educational requirement.
As an alternative, auditors may be considered if they can demonstrate 4 years experience and they have achieved a satisfactory educational standard including oral and written communication skills necessary to conduct and/or manage audits.
**Management Systems Experience requirements**
**Auditing Experience requirement**
Will have maintained and be able to provide evidence of an up to date audit log to demonstrate that their auditing experience was gained under the prescribed conditions and within the required time frame.
Only independent audits satisfy the auditing experience requirements. Examples of acceptable audits included are:
- a head office audit of a plant or division;
- one division of plant auditing another division or plant;
- a customer organisation auditing a supplier;
- a third-party certification audit; or
- a consultant contracted to provide an independent audit.

**Line Management**
