We're seeking an exceptional Flagship Assistant Sales/Category Manager to help lead one of our categories in our prestigious MECCA George Street flagship store on a fixed term contract.
- Day-to-day responsibilities:_
- As a _Flagship Assistant Sales Manager _you'll work on a _full-time _basis. This may include shifts across late night and weekend peak trade._- Supports the delivery of exceptional customer experiences and ensures team adherence to customer service standards.- Works with Flagship Sales Manager to implement and execute trials and innovations, providing ongoing support and process improvement.- Collaborates with concession partners to deliver a seamless customer experience, enhanced operational efficiency, and drive trade.- Operates with agility and applies critical thinking to solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.- Actively manages tasks and deadlines to maximize floor time, benefiting the customer, team, and business.- Works closely with the Flagship Sales Manager to build and support a high-performing team and ensures the smooth running of store operations.
- What you’ll bring to this role:_- Extensive experience (minimum 2 years) managing a large format retail environment where you inspire, coach and train large teams.- A true passion for exceptional customer service, going above and beyond for our customers to create MECCA-magic moments.- Strong stakeholder management experience, internally and externally.- Previous coaching and mentoring experience focusing on team member development.- A make-it-happen mindset with a proven ability to develop strong relationships.- Genuine care for people, always striving to create the best possible team member experience.- An ability to think big and long-term, and drive change through influencing others.
