**Support Teacher - Inclusive Education (ST:IE), St Thomas More College, SUNNYBANK**
**We are seeking an experienced Support Teacher Inclusive Education (ST:IE) for this part time fixed term opportunity.**
**In collaboration with parents and teachers, you will support students across the full range of abilities and needs, to meet specific learning needs.**
**You will implement inclusive and effective teaching and learning strategies to engage and improve education outcomes of supported students.**

**About the role** - **As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

**About you** - **To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Support Teacher: Inclusive Education as well as:

- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
- Commitment to child safety
- Experience in implementing Individual Curriculum Plans (ICPs), (will be an advantage)
- An understanding of the NCCD process
- Involvement with BCE Strategies and practices which influence student progress and achievement
- An ability to attend to innovative and creative teaching practices
- A proven capacity to work as part of a team
- A willingness to share knowledge and skills through professional development, consultation, and advice
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven organisational skills
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.

**At BCE our teachers are required to**:

- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Have a commitment to Safeguarding
