The Avenues Group of Centres is family owned and operated. We have been providing quality care and education since 2003. Each centre in the group has its own unique character and offers services that reflect the local communities in which they are located.

Avenues Montessori Children’s House - Sunnybank is a beautiful and calm centre conveniently situated near the main road and public transport lines and operates within long day care hours to support the families and children of Sunnybank, Brisbane, and surrounding areas.

**About the role**

**About you**

We seek applicants who have strong auditing, programming, leadership, and mentoring skills. You will play a key role within the development of a group of diverse and international newly trained Montessori staff and would therefore need to have excellent communication and written skills. The applicant will need to be a team player and have the willingness to learn to use digital programming tools on various levels to support administrative and educational tasks.
- The successful applicant must hold the following: _
- An ACECQA recognized qualification in addition to your Montessori Diploma (0-6 prefferred)
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis Management (or be willing to complete)
- At least 2 years' experience as a Lead Educator
- Previous experience in an Educational Leader role is desirable
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the QLD Kindergarten Guidelines.
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills
- The ability to positively influence and provide feedback on our educator’s documentation, processes, and interactions
