As a **Head of Compliance Advisory supporting Consumer Finance**,**you will be part of the **Personal Banking Compliance team,**that is doubling down on customer obsession.

**Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to**:

- Lead regulatory compliance risk management in Consumer Finance and, where applicable, other specified business units in Australia.
- Lead and drive compliance risk assessments, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance training programs.
- Ensure Consumer Finance operates within a robust risk and compliance framework, safeguarding our reputation and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Partner with the business to address compliance needs, issues, incidents, and regulatory requirements. Support safe implementation of the Business strategies.
- Provide relevant Executives and Leaders with feedback on their compliance risk management performance and outcomes.
- Provide clear and practical guidance to the Consumer Finance domain, building a team of trusted advisers.Develop compliance risk management and monitoring capabilities that transform the way NAB manages risk, to become more data and analytical driven so that our risk and compliance expertise is concentrated in the areas of most material risk exposure.
- Lead an engaged and talented team, who are highly regarded for their advice on risk and compliance issues and their assistance in designing effective mitigation strategies and controls.

**We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need**:

- Proven experience working in a similar senior leadership Compliance Advisory role, specifically with Legal, Risk or Compliance expertise, in Financial Services, preferably in Consumer Finance and/or Personal Banking.
- Deep understanding of the Financial Services regulatory environment in Australia including understanding of obligations relevant to Australian Financial Services Licence and Australian Credit Licence.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements, issues and opportunities and exceptional risk management and controls expertise.
- Deep understanding and demonstrated management of relevant risk exposures, including compliance and licencing in Financial Services.
- Exceptional leadership experience with proven history in the delivery of strategic initiatives that positively change and drive business performance in a sustainable and safe manner.
- Strong stakeholder management experience with proven ability to interact, challenge and influence across senior levels of the organisation and industry bodies.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate simply and with influence.
- Excellent and demonstrated problem solving skills (complex and adaptive problems).
- Experience providing advice and challenge on shaping, design and delivering change effectively.
