Great opportunity for **Logistic Specialist **at the world's leading food manufacturer in North Sydney

**Position Summary**:
Are you seeking the job in the world's well-known food manufacturer company? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you In this role, you will closely collaborate with our national management and headquarters in Japan. If you have a passion for uncovering insights within numbers, this permanent full-time position offers long-term growth prospects, allowing you to embark on a rewarding journey where your skills and passion will make a significant impact on our business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials
- Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments
- Purchase/Import from overseas, mainly from the same company branches, but also other factories.
- Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients’ criteria
- Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs
- Negotiate rates with carriers
- Input the purchase / inventory in ERP system(SAGE) and other subsidy own system

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 3 years of trading experience at food company
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work and communicate under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously / self-motivated / accountable for own work
- Open to continuous improvement mindset
- Not essential but Japanese Speaker is preferable
