THE ROLE
The Central Information Point (CIP) was formed following a recommendation of the Royal Commission into Family Violence in order to protect victim survivors of family violence.
The CIP CP Data Analyst (CPDA) will be part of a team employed by Family Safety Victoria (FSV). The CIP CPDA will work in a multi-disciplinary team co-located in the CIP Operations Unit in FSV, with staff from Victoria Police, Corrections Victoria, and the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, all of whom perform the role of CIP Data Custodians for their respective agencies. The CIP CP Data Custodians provide a summary of targeted information upon request from family violence agencies
The CIP CIP CPDA will access the Child Protection Client Relationship Information System (CRIS) to assess and collate family violence information. This information will contribute to a consolidated report, which will assist in forming a comprehensive family violence risk assessment to keep victim survivors of family violence safe.
ARE YOU
- proficient in the use of CRIS and the L17 portal?- a person who has skills in and knowledge of family violence?- able to quickly assess complex information to provide accurate and succinct summaries?

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
1. Assess complex information held within CRIS to prepare accurate and succinct summaries of family violence information in a timely manner.2. Provide expert advice on the quality, accuracy and relevance of data.3. Input and contribute to the preparation of CIP reports including the appropriate analysis of available information.
