**The Role**
An exciting and challenging full-time role exists for a highly driven and tenacious individual who can lead our business development initiatives in Western Australia. This role will involve some travel to Geraldton and South West WA regions.
Your main focus will be the sales and growth of our Fire System Testing (FST) sector which provides routine testing of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire doors, sprinkler and hydrant systems.
The key responsibilities of this role will involve:
- gathering market intelligence.
- identification of new, profitable business opportunities.
- cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
- converting opportunities to ongoing, recurring revenue business and achieving budgets.
- maximising sales opportunities and ensuring contracts are secured on commercially favourable term.
- leading and co-ordinating tender processes which elevate Wormald ahead of their competition.
**What We Are Looking For**

- Be organised, analytical and ethical.
- Possess superior relationship building skills, at all levels.
- Have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding influencing and customer service skills.
- Business Development background with experience developing client portfolios and achieving budgets.
- Experience in tender processes and successfully responding to tenders is a must.
- Previous experience in selling fire solutions or other building services is desirable.
