Cottage Cheese Farm Pty Ltd, a leader in producing high-quality Mediterranean cheeses and yoghurts, is seeking a dedicated **Production Manager (Manufacturing)** to ensure smooth operations, quality control, and continuous improvement in our production facility. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Organise and oversee plant repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Maintain a friendly, positive, and helpful attitude when interacting with colleagues to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure all personnel entering the production facility comply with hygiene and sanitation requirements.
- Operate plant equipment and machinery efficiently, hygienically, and safely.
- Maintain HACCP records in production areas to ensure food safety compliance.
- Ensure the cleaning and sanitation program is consistently followed and effectively implemented.
- Monitor traceability and control of materials and finished products, including managing Hold and Release procedures.
- Attend and actively participate in Management Reviews to discuss performance and improvement opportunities.

**Key Duties**:

- Monitor stock levels and prepare the **Production Plan** in consultation with the **General Manager** and **Cheese Maker**.
- Prepare and manage the **Roster** in consultation with the General Manager.
- Work with the **Quality Assurance (QA) Team** to ensure compliance with the QA manual and all food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the **Operations Manager** to drive continuous improvement within the production room.
- Oversee the packing room operations to ensure efficiency and quality control.
- Support the **Cheese Maker** in day-to-day cheese-making operations as needed.

**Authority and Reporting**:

- Report any operational or quality concerns directly to the **Operations Manager** for immediate resolution.

**Delegation of Responsibilities in Case of Absence**:

- In the event of absence, the **Operations Manager** will share the responsibilities and accountabilities of the Production Manager.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Minimum qualification**:Diploma or higher in Production Management, Manufacturing, or a related field** (aligned with ANZSCO requirements).
- At least **1 year of experience** in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, HACCP, quality control, and production planning.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and operational excellence.
