**Role**:
An enthusiastic & knowledgeable gardener/educator is wanted for an existing Kitchen Garden program at Richmond West Primary School.

Additional responsibilities may also include; general garden tidying, maintenance, sweeping, weeding etc.

The position is one day a week, Tuesdays (preferably) 9am - 3.30pm.

**Location Profile**:
Richmond West Primary School was established in 1976. It is in the densely populated inner eastern suburb of Richmond on the fringe of the Melbourne Central Business District. The school building comprises a two story well open-planned building set in grounds that provide the students with open play spaces.

The school has a total of 295 students, one principal and one assistant principal, 22 full time and part time teaching staff, 4 full and part time ES and 2 part time multi-cultural aides. The school¿s SFOE is low-medium.

The school is unique for its successful bilingual immersion program, conceived early in the school¿s establishment, which is now regarded as a rare model attracting interest from diverse stakeholders across the educational sector at state, national and international levels.
