Dreamworld is home to the biggest thrill rides on the planet We’re offering a unique and diverse opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Fitter/Welder to join our Engineering team and help keep the fun running smoothly behind the scenes.

**What’s the role?**

As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing rides, plant, and equipment across Dreamworld. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to ensuring our guests continue to have safe and unforgettable experiences.

**Shift Samples** - Enjoy 3 Days Off Every 4 Shifts

Start your journey with a Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM shift while you get familiar with the park. Once you're all set, you will be assigned to one of the rosters below:

- **Roster 1**: Sunday to Wednesday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM
- **Roster 2**: Wednesday to Saturday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM

**What we’re looking for**:
To be considered, you must be a qualified Mechanical Fitter with a minimum of five years post-trade experience and a solid background in industrial maintenance. Strong diagnostic and repair skills in the following areas are essential:

- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Pumps and dewatering systems
- Heavy fixed plant repair
- Welding and fabrication experience

A current manual driver’s licence is required, and while EWP and forklift licences would be a bonus, they’re not essential.
