**REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN**

**Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC-R equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with ice machines.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- ARC licence and full RAC
- Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial refrigeration
- Valid driver’s licence

**About You**:

- Strong knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, proactive and able to plan ahead
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to go on a rotating on-call roster with on call allowance (generally 1 in 5weeks)
- Willingness to work approved overtime
- Experience with Simpro mobile an advantage but not necessary
