**The Role**

We are seeking a junior lawyer (2 years PQE) with disputes and litigation experience to join our busy and successful Projects & Construction team in our Sydney office. You will have the opportunity to consistently challenge yourself while working on a broad range of interesting building, construction and infrastructure projects including industrial, public infrastructure, commercial, residential and retail.

In this position, you will be exposed to a range of clients including developers, head contractors, consultants, subcontractors and neutrals. In this role, you will develop a high degree of confidence, commercial acumen and ability to work with autonomy and as part of a team with both internal and external clients. You will bring experience in drafting of commercial and litigation documents.

You will be provided with continuous learning opportunities and will be mentored and supported as you develop your career as a Projects & Construction specialist, both in front and back end work. Your learning experience will be underpinned by an excellent CLE program, the opportunity to build relationships within our National Projects & Construction Team and exposure to work across Australia.

**To succeed in this role you will ideally have**
- Admitted with 2 years PQE experience in a private practice law firm
- General dispute resolution and litigation experience with a keen interest in construction disputes
- A strong academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills
- A commitment to excellence and delivery of high-quality and timely outcomes to our clients
- Ability to effectively manage your own time, competing tasks and, at times working to tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- A “can do” attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
