**Job Description**:
Circular Plastics Australia, a part of the PACT Group, is creating a truly circular economy by giving billions of used plastic bottles and containers a new life. Our facilities will enable plastic waste to be recycled locally and made into new bottles and packaging, rather than ending up in landfill.

**About this opportunity**

As a member of the Site Technical Team, the Quality Assurance Coordinator role is a technical position, reporting directly to the Quality Manager. The role has responsibility for all aspects of Quality at this Greenfield site which will produce recycled resin.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Have intimate knowledge of FSSC 22000 V 5.1 and ongoing 3rd party system certification requirements.
- Understanding of EFSA, FDA & Customer specific requirements that relate to the site, and ensuring identified PRP’s are managed in line with requirements
- Staying up to date with changes, or best practices across the industry
- Involved in all quality and technical aspects of the production of recycled resin at the site.
- Support the Technical & Site Manager to build and maintain strong personal relationships with key client stakeholders
- Focus on quality output that meets customer expectations and agreed standards and specifications
- Promote a culture of zero harm including an unrelenting focus on continually improving our safety culture

**Your skills and experience**

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- 2 - 3years+ in a similar role
- Experience in a technical role, relating to plastics and/or recycling
- ** Hands on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC MS and or GC FID)**:

- Experienced in driving cost improvement strategy
- Demonstrated ability in influencing without direct accountability
- Proven change management experience with a collaborative and enabling approach
