**About the Position**
You are responsible for finding, attracting and allocating all required labour hire positions prior to and during an electoral event. Using your well-developed communication and people skills and your stakeholder experience, you will follow established labour hire recruitment processes and relevant employment legislation to work with labour hire providers to efficiently recruit, onboard and pay labour hire staff for electoral events.
**Position Duties**:
- Manage local Labour Hire contracts, ensuring full compliance with all legislation, policy and contractual arrangements, and in the best interests of the agency.
- Develop and support internal and external relationships, including managing stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals, and provision of accurate specialist advice.
- Prepare labour hire sourcing requests for external providers, ensuring strong attention to detail in regard to the completeness and accuracy of information provided.
- Contribute to labour hire planning and strategy development, and analyse the effectiveness of labour hire providers and staff, striving for continuous improvement using an evidence-based approach.
- In consultation with Divisional Offices, assess, recruit and onboard applicants.
- Manage all elements of labour hire administration including managing timesheets and approvals, staff allowances and travel, resolving staffing issues or conflicts.
- Develop or communicate reporting providing visibility and monitor progress of labour hire staffing.
- May be required to supervise a team member to ensure high quality outputs, including the mentoring and development of the team member.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and deliver projects with set deadlines and with competing priorities, in a highly operational and legislated environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to develop and support internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Proven ability to provide accurate and specialised advice in line with relevant policies and legislation.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and contribute to issues management and resolution.
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and an ability to identify, implement and promote improved work practices.
- Demonstrated personal integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and policy parameters.
